The famous acronym TSUP, each letter of which means so much to anyone involved in space, has become the name of a new collection of automatic watches. The RKA Mission Control Centre is not just a room where people at computers communicate with astronauts on a big screen.The image, familiar from many films, shows only part of the large and complex conglomerate of different units, equipment and, above all, unique specialists who play an important role in space mission control.
The shape of the case, a square with smoothed corners, is a reference to the models of previous years. The stainless steel case is partly polished and partly satin finished.The thin bezel is reminiscent of a spacecraft porthole through which an astronaut observes the majestic planet Earth: the outlines of the continents adorn the grey dial. Three hands move on the background of these relief elements. The hour and minute hands have a special luminescent coating that gives off a pleasant greenish light in the dark, making it easy to tell the time in all conditions. At 6 o'clock there is a laconic date window. Vertical guilloche stripes enhance the volume effect. The applied indexes are highlighted by mirror polishing. The dial is protected by mineral glass. The caseback is transparent. It reveals the details of the TMI automatic movement, whose rotor bears the inscription "Made in Russia" and an engraving of a cosmonaut. The caseback is secured by four screws, ensuring a water resistance of 10 atmospheres (100 metres).
The watch is mounted on a brown genuine leather strap with a stainless steel buckle featuring the brand's Kocmoc logo.
The crown and strap are also decorated with the brand logo.
