The Juno interplanetary robotic space probe became the first spacecraft to enter Jupiter's polar orbit in the summer of 2016. The image of this gas giant occupies perhaps the most prominent place in the composition of the watch dial.

A thin sheet of foil is visible through the layers of lacquer and paint: this technique is used to create luminosity and volume. The process of gradually drawing out the details is quite lengthy: the artist spends up to 50 hours working on each painting subject. The process of baking the miniature in a special oven gives the drawing the necessary lustre and completeness.  

The watch is a one-of-a-kind piece.

The watch is equipped with a TMI automatic movement. In addition to the hours, minutes and seconds, it also displays the date and day of the week. You'll find the date and day indicator at 3 o'clock, highlighted by an applied frame.  The movement can be observed by turning the watch upside down: the caseback is transparent. The hour and minute hands are coated with a luminous material that glows in the dark. The mineral glass is convex on both sides, using technology typical of the 1960s and 70s.  The strap is made of genuine leather with stitching.
