On the black dial, the Eternal Flame burns with an applied element in the form of a voluminous five-pointed star and tongues of flame. Cranes soar above the Eternal Flame, a touching symbol of the memory of soldiers who did not return from the battlefield. The birds, with their easily recognisable wide wingspan, are made of steel and are securely mounted. On a special plaque you can read lines from a poem written by Olga Bergholtz in 1959: "No one is forgotten, nothing is forgotten". An immutable moral law, when dying for the freedom of one's people is the path to immortality.
The caseback is engraved with the names of 12 Hero Cities and the fortress of Brest, which was the first to feel the aggression of the invaders. Another engraving on the caseback is a monument to a liberator holding a little German girl in his arms, a symbol of the liberation of the peoples of Europe from Nazism.
The stainless steel case houses an automatic movement. The date aperture is located at 9 o'clock. A voluminous guilloché pattern decorates the dial. The hour and minute hands are coated with a luminous material. The caseback, with a window revealing the workings of the mechanism, is secured by four screws. This model is equipped with a mineral glass. The improved water-resistance is 10 atmospheres. The Milanese bracelet is a good combination of flexibility and strength, and the special clasp allows easy length adjustment.
