K 043.1 Buran

The legendary spacecraft, the first and only one with a wingspan of about 24 metres and weighing more than 100 tonnes, circled the Earth twice and landed, all in automatic mode. "Buran" was more than 10 years in the making, and its 205 minutes of flight time is listed in the Guinness Book of Records.

To create the model of the series Unique watches, the brand’s artists have chosen the technique of lacquer miniatures.  Several layers of lacquer and paint are applied to the base, alternating to create volume and a sense of dynamism.  Details are added gradually, using the finest brushes: it takes up to 50 hours of work to create one painting subject. The process of baking the miniature in a special oven gives the drawing the necessary lustre and completeness.
The watch is a one-of-a-kind piece.
The watch is equipped with a TMI automatic movement. In addition to the hours, minutes and seconds, it also displays the date and day of the week. You'll find the date and day indicator at 3 o'clock, highlighted by an applied frame. The movement can be observed by turning the watch upside down: the caseback is transparent. The hour and minute hands are coated with a luminous material that glows in the dark.  The mineral glass is convex on both sides, using technology typical of the 1960s and 70s.  The strap is made of genuine leather with stitching. The special clasp allows the strap to be easily replaced with a similar one or with a steel Milanese bracelet.
